How We Price Your Project

Alpha-Omega uses project-based pricing, not hourly rates. Every property is unique, and your cost depends on several critical factors beyond just acreage.

Our pricing reflects the real cost of operating on your land — equipment rental, fuel, labor, and mobilization — plus the complexity of the work itself. We assess each job through a site visit so you get an accurate, fair quote with no surprises.

Base Pricing Range

For planning purposes, our day rates typically start at:

• $2000 per 8 hour day

Most projects complete in 1–2 days depending on property size and vegetation density. A flat mobilization fee starting at $200 covers setup and transport. Final pricing depends on factors detailed below — this range illustrates typical day-rate structure.

What Affects Your Price

1. Vegetation Density & Type

Thick, mature hardwood forests take longer and require heavier equipment than light brush or scrub. Our equipment can safely mulch small trees and saplings around 6-8" thick.

Examples:

• Light overgrowth with few or no trees → usually done in a single pass
• Mixed brush & small trees → may require multiple passes
• Dense brush & trees → requires several passes to properly mulch
• Hardwood trees (such as oaks) introduce another obstacle in mulching time
• Dense palmettos can be fibrous and stringy also presenting a challenge

We inspect vegetation on-site to determine the right equipment for the job — which directly impacts your cost.

2. Terrain & Slope

Steep terrain, wet soil, or rocky ground slows equipment and increases the time required to complete your project safely.

3. Access & Mobilization

How we get equipment to your property matters. Tight gates, long driveways, or difficult turnarounds cost more to navigate than properties with easy access.

4. Property Size & Scope

We price by the project, not the acre. A heavily overgrown 5-acre parcel might take the same time as a lightly overgrown 10-acre tract. Site visit reveals the true scope. Our aim is to tailor pricing that is fair to both us and the customer.
